Improvising Adulthood

A guide book promoting positivity and living your best life without the use of all of your upper extremities.  This is your go to additional coping tool for dealing as well as living with a crippling injury and medical unknowns.

Our Mission:

Embracing the new reality of losing the use of an extremity is a courageous journey of adaptation, resilience, and self-discovery. Our Founder, Genevieve M. Lynott lost the use of her dominate shoulder, arm and hand in October 2022. Her medical journey is ongoing with an unknown outcome. The journey is unique for each individual and Improvising Adulthood, Inc. is here to provide guidance that aligns with your personal goals and aspirations. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the human spirit is remarkably adaptable, and with the right tools and mindset, individuals cannot only cope with the challenges but also discover newfound strengths and possibilities.

Blog: Guiding Adults through Medical Unknowns.

Life happens and it is not always fun or in our control. As adults we each get to choose how we cope. Medical unknows or becoming a cripple are not excuses to neglect being the best version of you.

Keep your head in the game. Stay positive and goal orientated to live self sufficient happy lives.
